Time enough for love.

a book written by Robert A. Heinlein in 1973. its about the adventures and musings of Lazarus Long, the oldest living human (estimated to be 2500 years old), who has grown weary and has decided that life is no longer worth living. It takes the form of several novellas tied together in the form of Lazarus's retrospective narrative. There is a reverse Arabian Night theme to the novel, in that Lazarus will consent not to end his life as long as his companions will listen to his stories.

Isnt it kind off cool? i stumbled upon this title in Amazon.com and decided to check it out, since the title sounds nice and all. and i got this story synopsis on wikipedia.yep. they did give a few summaries of the major "stories within the story", as those touches on several more sensitive issues such as the failure of democracy, love, incest and pioneers of life and PANTHEISTIC SOLIPSISM - the theory that universes are created by the act of imagining them so that somewhere the Land of Oz is real.

its more of like " A Brave New World" kinda story- science fiction, but at the very same time, it questions the values which our society were built upon, and the shaken faith.

SHOULD I READ IT? i cant find the ebook version, and i have no idea where to buy it except for amazon. but i have to admit, the pantheistic solipsism theory seems interesting. jus imagine that something is there and it will be there. cool or what? if anyone has any idea of where to get this book, tell mi pls? thnakie.

in the meanwhile, let me finish the 2 volumes of Mein Kampf. and all of jodi picoult's books! i have about 6!! =D

o, and did i mention that Lazarus Long is a FICTIONAL CHARACTER?
