yep. gonna continue frm my previous post. know its been like 6 days... sorry for abandoning my blog for so so long... =) thanks to yhui's reminder. THANKS!

ok. i mentioned the street filled with pine trees. way nice. looked like a scence outta the com wallpaper. its so nice that u dun have to b a good photographer to take a nice shot. seriously. its way way nice!!=) <3 it so much. hope i can go there again. keepin my fingers crossed. but mayb not go in winter, cause its freezing! yeah. after that, returned to the main land le. some of the most memorable parts of korea was the kimchi making and the skiing. and the part where i wore their hanbok. kimchi making is fun. and i graduated kaes? meaning, i m actuaally passable!! yayness. then the kimch i made was donated to the home for the aged in korea. hope they like it. cause its my like first attempt. haha. might post pics. later. lol.

then the skiing. its more of like roller blading, except that the ski is 1.5m long and the shoes weight almost 5 kg. yep. scary. and its like wearing dumbells round ya feet. then learnt to brake and stuff. how to turn. and i spent the whole morn till early afternoon skiing. and my mum, she's not too good. mayb cause she cant balance well enuf. when she went down the slope, she couldnt brake and crashed into sum1. so funny. laughed wid siyu dey all, till i got stomach ache. i noe its bad of mii. but cant help it mah... =) hee.

hanbok. way flattering on ani1. cause the bottom flares out, so even if u r fat u still look skinny wearing it. skinny then look skinnier. cool huh? i like that. and unlike the cheongsam. eew. stickes to ur body, or rather, contours. disgustly nice on skinny ppl like models, but not so flattering on norm ppl. bleh. yep.

next to china, beijing. CLIMBED THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA!!!! YEP. to think i climbed it. no easy feat kaes? the steps are like steep. and the wind is blowing in ur face. and the temp is like -5. bbbrrrr, not a v nice day to b out. but wadever. it looks so so great man. like a dream come true. then wnet to the 13 MING TOMBS the bext day. went like 9 storeys underground to c the tomb of the ming emperor. scary. and empty. the coffin is easily 3 meters long. and 1 meters wide. red. alongside is his wife and a concubine.. whoa. let's jus say u wouldnt wanna b stuck inside when the electricity is cut off. get the idea?

went to TIANANMEN SQUARE TOO. THEN TO FORBIDDEN CITY. interesting history... and saw the chinese ppl queuing up to see mao zedong;s body in the mausolem. eeew. to think they preserved it. queue 2 hrs to get a 2 min glimsp. spirit of perseverence. the forbidden city. in the ancient china, gals cant walk though the front gate. always through the back one. and onli the empress gets to walk once her entire life--- her wedding day. yep. unfair. but wad can we say. and no tall tress within the palace. cause the emperor dun wan tings taller than his palace. wad kinda weird thing is tat?!? and the stone ground, is 15 LAYERS THICK. to prevent assasinators.. extreme lei. but interesting ya? and lots more history learnt... VALUABLE. LEARNT MORE IN ONE TRIP THAN IN A YEAR'S WORTH OF HISTORY CLASS. and to c those places in real life is v much diff than pics. realli different. =) mayb everi1 shld go try it out? but within the forbidden city have to walk bout 1.5 km. so b prepared. and i was wrapped like a dumpling. or rather, fishball. round round de. lol.

hmm... v tired cause jus came back frm dinner. here's to the last day of 2006. cheers. =) lol
